Using Fragrance Around Pets

Using Fragrance Around Pets

Pets may respond differently to fragrance depending on species, age, health, sensitivity, room size, ventilation, fragrance intensity, and diffuser placement.

When using Olfia in a home with pets, begin with a lower fragrance intensity and allow normal airflow through the room. Place the diffuser on a stable surface away from pet beds, food and water bowls, crates, litter areas, and enclosed resting spaces.

Avoid directing fragrance mist toward your pet or placing the diffuser immediately beside areas where they spend long periods of time.

If your pet shows signs of discomfort or unusual sensitivity, stop using the fragrance in that space and consult a qualified veterinarian when appropriate.

Olfia is designed to give you control over fragrance intensity and timing, so you can keep scent lighter in shared spaces and adjust it gradually based on your home.

A simple rule to follow

Start light. Keep the room ventilated. Give pets space to move away from the scented area.

This guidance does not mean that every fragrance is appropriate for every animal, species, or household.
